The first items used as money were either pieces of obsidian (natural volcanic glass) in around 12,000BC, or else live cattle from around 9,000BC. The first 'coins' were pieces of bronze shaped like cattle from around 2,000BC.

The 1976 Abba hit 'Money, Money, Money' was sung by Meryl Streep in the 2008 film Mama Mia. 'Money Money (Makes The World Go Round)' featured in the 1972 film Cabaret. You may prefer the the sophistication of Pink Floyd's 'Money' from their seminal Dark Side of the Moon album.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill was first published in 1937 and immediately sold out it's initial printing of 5,000 copies plus second printing of 10,000. It has gone on to sell over 70,000,000 copies worldwide.

The highest personal tax demand was £336,000,000 on the Estate of reclusive American tycoon Howard Hughes; there are reports that there could be a higher demand, over £500,000,000, on the Estate of the late Michael Jackson.
